  5. Rating ranges from G to NC-17, with appropriate tagging.

We, however, would not accept any of these:

  1. Underage marriage: both parties should be of age (18, Korean age) at time of marriage.

  2. Elements of incest, pedophilia, non-con, dub-con.

  3. Sensitive triggering topics such as self-harm, suicide, racism, abuse, domestic abuse, homicide.

We'd like to stress that this is work of fiction with thin line separating the two. It is up to authors to thread well between the limits as well as putting up suitable warning tags in their work. tl;dr: We'll accept fics that didn't go against our guideline as listed above, as long as the marriage didn't result to harm (domestic abuse, suicide, homicide of any degree).

Arranged Marriage vs Forced Marriage

  • Arranged Marriage: A marriage planned by (a) both side of the grooms, (b) one side of the groom but agreed by both, (c) outside party e.g matchmaker but agreed by both grooms' side. In short, both grooms consented the marriage and willingly accept the matrimony.

  • Forced Marriage: One or both groom doesn't consent to the marriage and forced into accepting the matrimony.

  • For the sake of plot building, we will accept elements of forced marriage to an extent where these conditions apply: (a) no side has to face life-threatening situations if not agreeing to the marriage, (b) marriage does not bring mental or physical harm to either participant or other characters.

  • The line separating these two is vague and authors could easily mistaken one for another. We're open for discussion. If you have hesitation or doubt about your work, feel free to refer the mod team.

  • Authors: We'd like to remind authors to include proper and suitable warning tags on their stories when posting, be it either in written form before the story starts or on AO3's taglist so the readers would be well-informed of what your work contain.

  • Readers: It is your responsible to understant what kind of content you're about to engage. Be sure to check warning left by authors. If found uncomfortable, do not proceed with the work.
